Mark Laurence Zammit has spent 14 years covering the hardest stories in Malta, but the interview that changed him most never aired. In this episode, he talks about the gap between accuracy and honesty in journalism, the boy whose crime made national news but whose childhood nobody asked about, the afternoon Daphne Caruana Galizia was killed by a car bomb, and why after everything he has seen he still believes there are no evil people. It is a conversation about truth, judgment, and what the most dangerous headline is really hiding.

Kevin Naudi has made hundreds of thousands laugh, but behind the comedy is a story few people know. In this episode, he opens up about performing his biggest show while going through a mental breakdown, losing his best friend to addiction, the terrifying moment his two-year-old daughter had a seizure, and the childhood that shaped who he became. It’s a raw conversation about fatherhood, grief, purpose, and why the funniest people are often carrying the heaviest weight.

What if the island everyone in power is fighting to grow is already full? In the early 2000s Malta had almost no tourism. Today it carries 4.5 million tourists a year, and this January alone it saw more of them than in August 2012, its old peak month. The population has passed 588,000, up 31% since 2000. A home that once cost 7 years of salary now costs 14. Philip Fenech has spent 40 years inside Malta's tourism and nightlife. He didn't build it, he lived it. He helped bring Ryanair to the island, opened one of the first clubs in Paceville, and watched Malta go from empty airports to one of the most crowded countries in Europe. In this conversation he says the thing most people in his position are too careful to say: the island cannot carry any more. We go into overtourism, the population nobody can accurately count, why a 30 year old can't buy a home, the businesses that look packed while they quietly lose money, and what every fast growing country on earth is about to learn from Malta. This is not a tourism episode. It is an episode about home, and about whether a country still belongs to the people who live in it.

What if the people building the most powerful technology in human history do not actually know how to stop it? In this episode with Dr Gege Gatt, we go beyond the hype and into the real questions AI is forcing humanity to face: AGI, control, government power, fake reality, loneliness, relationships with machines, and what happens when human purpose starts to disappear. This is not a conversation about technology. It is a conversation about freedom, truth, and the decisions being made today that could shape the next chapter of humanity.
